With the WBC Heavyweight Championship on the line, Tyson Fury took on familiar foe Dereck Chisora at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The Gypsy King was in masterful form producing a dominant display to beat a determined Chisora and retain his WBC Heavyweight Championship to the delight of 59,789 fans crowding into the Stadium.
6ft 9in Fury punished Chisora with a particularly effective right uppercuts in the early rounds, until referee Victor Loughlin ended the contest 2.51 into the 10th round, Fury winning by technical knockout. The win stretches Fury’s unbeaten record to 33 wins and a draw.
Dubois Vs Lerena
In the main support bout, London’s rising star Daniel Dubois against Kevin Lerena. Dubois weathered an early storm that saw him floored in the first round by the South African. Dubois managed to steady himself in the second round and then knock his opponent out after a barrage of punches at the end of the third. The referee stopped the fight at the end of that round handing Dubois the win by technical knockout. Dubois retained his WBA Regular Heavyweight Championship and extend his record to 19 wins and one loss in 20 fights.
