Staying safe at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
We want everyone to enjoy their time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – and your welfare is always our priority.

Please take a moment to read this page for information on the ways we’re here to support your wellbeing, and for simple tips you can follow to help ensure you have a safe, positive experience.
Our security, stewards and front-of-house teams are all here to help with any questions or concerns you may have during an event, and they are supported by our colleagues at the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police.
These teams are all friendly and approachable – and if you ever feel lost, confused or overwhelmed during an event, please don’t hesitate to let them know. We’re here to help.
In addition to trained medical teams on site to support anyone feeling unwell, we also have a dedicated Welfare and Support team located in the stadium’s Welfare Suite, who are always happy to provide specialist assistance to those who need it.
There are some simple guidelines that you can follow before the event to help ensure you have a positive experience:
· Plan your journey home in advance – especially if the event you’re attending is due to finish late. Be sure to check in advance for travel disruption and factor in last train times.
· If you’re planning on using taxis or other private hire vehicles for any part of your journey to/from the stadium, we recommend only using those booked through a reputable company. For Uber journeys, please familiarise yourself with our Northern and Southern Uber pick-up points.
· Charge your phone in advance – especially if your ticket is on your phone. Portable phone/battery chargers are permitted inside Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and we would recommend bringing one where possible.
· We advise against camping overnight or queuing in advance for any events. However, if you do choose to do so, please think ahead about the appropriate provisions to bring, including water, snacks, sun cream, and more.
· As the stadium is an outdoor environment, please ensure you prepare and dress appropriately for the weather.
If you’re attending a non-football event at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our age restrictions.
· Anyone entering the stadium under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above.
· Anyone under the age of 14 won’t be allowed onto the pitch standing area under any circumstances – even if accompanied by an adult. Please keep this in mind when booking your tickets to the event.
· There is no admittance for children under the age of 3 and we strongly encourage the parents/guardians of children aged 3-5 to consider whether it will be suitable to bring them to a large, busy event.
· All visitors – including young children – will require their own, full-priced ticket.
Our safeguarding team will be issuing children under the age of 11 with wristbands, these stewards will be located throughout the stadium and can be identified by their pink tabards.
We also recommend taking a picture of your child for identification purposes in the unlikely event you get separated.
If attending as a group, we recommend keeping note of the phone numbers of those you are with – both in your phone and in writing. We also recommend taking note of your block/row/seat number so you can easily find your way back.
Make sure you keep your phone with you at all times so you can contact your group if you get separated. A great way to look out for others in your group is sending live location pins to each other via WhatsApp location services or What3words.
If you do find yourself separated without your phone, or if you require additional assistance, our stewarding teams will be able to provide you with support. Please don’t hesitate to speak with them.
If travelling together, be sure to check that everyone is safe and accounted for before you head home.
We are supportive of the 'Ask for Angela' initiative throughout all areas of our stadium. If you ever feel unsafe or vulnerable at one of our events, you can ask any of our stewards or catering staff to speak to 'Angela' to obtain discrete support and assistance.
If you ever feel something isn't quite right, no matter how minor, please report it to us. You can mention it to any member of staff or use our text line, 07537404821.
